Project Administrative Assistant
The George Sollitt Construction Company is looking for a motivated Project Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience working for a General Contractor or Subcontractor in Commercial Construction. You must be dependable, detail-oriented, highly organized and work well with various tasks and deadlines.
Duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Generate Subcontracts/Purchase Orders
- Generate Subcontract Change Orders
- Meeting Minutes
- Process Submittals and RFI’s
- Type Change Requests
- Type General Correspondence
- Run Reports
- Project Directories
- Filing
- Complete Project Start-Up Tasks
- Compete Project Close-Out Tasks
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned from time to time
- This role will also help with the reception desk and answering phones as needed
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Proficient with MS Office
- One to three years administrative work experience in the construction industry preferred.
- Experience with project management software such as Viewpoint Team or Vista
- Experience with BlueBeam
- Positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task
